What are one-on-one sessions all about?

These are personal sessions with real practicing interpreters. It is often difficult for those just starting out to meet an experienced interpreter. Now ProZ.com gives you the chance to request a one-on-one session with an experienced interpreter. You may ask the interpreter any questions about the industry or what the profession is like. You can also ask the interpreter to check your skills so that you can see the most convenient training path to follow if you want to become an interpreter. You choose the content!

None of the listed interpreters work in my language combination. What should I do?

Who are these interpreters?

They are pre-screened professionals who want to share their knowledge and expertise with freelancers. These interpreters have been vetted by site staff (credentials and past experience have been checked for commercial viability) and are part of the ProZ.com Interpreter Pool.

How can I share my experience?

If you feel that you have the knowledge and experience that is required in providing value for other professionals, you can submit a support request, and the team will get in touch with you.

How do I book a session?

Once you click on the "Book a session" button, a  new tab will open where you'll be able to register your email address, name, and who you'd like to schedule a session with. After that, you'll be approached by site staff to carry on with scheduling and payment details.
