Interpreter pool API now includes location search

Written by Mike Donlin | February 21, 2018
The API associated with the interpreter pool at ProZ.com will now return location based search results.

Those interested in a strategic partnership with the interpreter pool may use this special API to access the 900+ pre-screened interpreters in the ProZ.com pool.
To integrate with the API the receiving application or website would need to
  • send a string with location for the search
  • provide distance for search
  • display the relevant returned results on the platform

ProZ.com Pools™, a business member benefit, is a service that makes it easier to discover freelance language professionals working in certain select fields such as interpreting. Interpreters have been screened and available for search by language pairs, country, modes (consecutive, simultaneous, whispered), modality (on-site, telephone, video) and location.

ProZ.com offers APIsapplication programming interfaces, that bring the power of the world’s leading community of freelance translators to other applications and websites. Additional APIs are available for posting jobs, searching the ProZ.com directory of language professionals, terminology from KudoZ™ and risk management from BlueBoard.
