How is your March going so far? Here is some of what's new at ProZ.com this month:

Second annual ProZ.com AI expo: Thursday, March 20th

AI is transforming the language industry, and the ProZ.com AI expo is the place to explore its impact. This online event brings together industry experts to discuss AI-driven tools, best practices, and the future of human and machine collaboration. Gain insights from leading professionals, participate in discussions, and connect with peers in a dedicated networking space.

The ProZ.com AI expo 2025 will take place on March 20 starting from 13:00 GMT!

The live broadcast will be open to everyone. The recorded broadcast will be made available to ProZ.com paying members thereafter.

Industry report for freelancers: two short surveys

In preparation for an upcoming industry report for freelancers, I am running a couple of short surveys. One is about different trends in the industry, and the other is an updated survey on AI use among freelancers. You may have already taken a version of that second one in the past, but this one is to look at whether those results have moved since last year.

If you can spare a few moments to answer one or both of the surveys, I would appreciate it!

On the move

You may have seen a member of the ProZ.com site team (or two, or several) out and about this February and March, depending on where you were and whether you blinked or not. ProZ.com sent representatives to the AITCO conference in Zanzibar, the ELIA Together conference in Barcelona, and to the Vamos Juntos conference currently underway in Mexico City. Along the way there have been several powwows so far, and two big meetups of ProZ.com site team members (the Kenya team on one hand and the Argentina team on the other). There was also a tragically comic match of football among the Argentine team, where each player had to perform while inside a large plastic bubble...

During the match, at least two earrings and a bucketful of dignity were lost.

A big shout out to all of the ProZ.com members who took the time to talk and provide face to face input during these outings, that the team can apply to the site and plans for improvements coming up!

I hope the month is... ahem... Marching along splendidly for you. See you at the AI expo next week?
