Since 1993, Translators without Borders (TwB) has been providing translations for non-profit organizations in the areas of crisis relief, health, and education, training new translators in under-resourced languages, and helping to raise awareness about why language is so important in humanitarian work.
Over the years, many ProZ.com members have lent their time and expertise to these causes by volunteering with TwB. If you have wanted to help out but have not been able to until now, a donation drive is currently running. Donations collected will go to powering Translators without Borders' myriad of humanitarian projects, including providing assistance and information in the fight against the Ebola outbreak in Africa.
