The Translation agencies and companies directory is where you can find translation agencies and end clients on ProZ.com.
It's easy to see where your business page ranks if you're a confirmed employee —you just need to head over to the directory and you'll see it:
But you may not know that you can improve your ranking to highlight your business for end clients, potential partners and service providers.
Here are four ways to rank higher in the Translation Agencies & Companies directory:
- Become a business member
First, businesses are ranked based on business membership package. That is, Enterprise members will appear before Plus members; Plus members before Standard; and Standard members before non-members.
Business members also have access to member only jobs and to recruitment benefits to find the best service providers for their projects. For more information about these benefits, see the ProZ.com business membership page »
- Have an updated Blue Board record
Then, ranking depends on Blue Board average LWA (likelihood of working again) and number of entries.

Also, keep in mind that it's more likely a new service provider or client will be more confident working with you if you have more and newer entries. Remember that you can (and should!) contact the freelancers who have worked with you to make an entry. You can either contact them through your own system or through ProZ.com.

If you haven't linked your Blue Board to your business page yet, are unsure how to do it, or have linked your page to an incorrect BB, drop the team a line: submit a support request or write to business@proz.com
- Complete your business page
If you're an admin on your business page you'll be able to edit it to complete. Just head to your page and you'll see right away if it's incomplete:
A complete business page will not only help your business rank higher, it will also help you when it comes to applying to jobs on the site and to creating trust with potential clients and service providers.

- Post jobs
Finally, ranking is determined by how many jobs your company has posted in the last six months. Need to look for freelancers? Then post a job, get immediate quotes and pick the service provider that best fits your company and project!
