The literary translators pool features professionals with experience translating books, plays, comics/graphics, poetry, short stories and songs.

Back in 2013, ProZ.com hosted a virtual event on the topic of literary translation. Prior to the event, I did some research, starting with a review of the relevant site forum. I released the following overview of the field of literary translation to those at the event, but never did anything else with the material.

ProZ.com founder Henry Dotterer’s cousin Mike Dotterer has been heckling us in the Syracuse, NY headquarters about the sharing economy. He is sure that ProZ.com members will help bring more members in 2018. He challenged us to think of a way in which members could be rewarded for sharing.

Your “About me” is one of the most prominent parts of your profile and a great tool for describing yourself to potential clients. 

While you have always been able to customize this section using text, images, and various styles, this process has recently been made easier and more visual. Adding images or formatting text in your “About me” no longer requires learning HTML code. Instead, these tasks can now be accomplished through the use of the new visual editor (similar to a word processing program such as Word or Pages).
