Every year, ProZ.com’s International Translation Day (ITD) event brings together thousands of language professionals from around the globe for two full days of connection, inspiration, and growth.
Every September, the global language community comes together to celebrate something that unites us all: our passion for language, communication, and the craft of translation and interpreting.
At ProZ, International Translation Day (ITD) is more than just a commemoration. It's a moment to pause, connect, learn, and grow. Each year, thousands of professionals from around the world log in to attend this free two-day event filled with presentations, panels, networking spaces, and thought-provoking discussions.

Participating in the “International Translation Day 2024” free TV event was a genuinely rewarding experience. Last International Translation Day 2024 in September was 3 days long with a huge variety of interpreting and translation presentations.
I really loved to watch many great speakers who are very noticeable in the industry and learned about many different language services such as subtitling, court interpretation, CAT tools, and AI tools. Finally, I also liked to participate in networking sessions. I know that not everybody is comfortable being in front of the camera, but for those who are brave enough to do it, make any event memorable.
Attending the “International Translation Day 2024” event was truly enriching. The sessions offered were not only insightful but also a valuable reminder of how essential continuous professional development is for translators and interpreters. Events like this help us stay connected, inspired, and up to date with the evolving needs of our industry.
